CREATED Test-Beds
US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center
CREATED stands for Coastal Research and Engineering to Advance Test-beds for Ecosystem Design. The project is a collaboration with the US Army Corps of Engineers Engineer Research and Development Center. Our team brings visualization and digital twin capability to physical test-beds along the Mississippi River.
Louisiana lives with the river. Decisions about sediment, flood control, and coastal restoration carry consequences for millions of people. Digital twins let researchers see those systems clearly, integrate live data, and rehearse possible futures before committing resources in the physical world.
The work applies the same scan-to-simulation pipeline we developed for aerospace manufacturing. Field capture moves through photogrammetry and LiDAR into real-time engines, where engineers and stakeholders can explore conditions together.
