LSU XR Studio
The XR Studio produces concerts where live music meets real-time visualization. Performers, virtual environments, motion capture, and spatial audio operate together as one instrument.
These productions draw on the studio's full infrastructure, including the LED volume, camera tracking, and the Digital Media Center Theatre's immersive sound systems. Musicians, digital artists, and engineers collaborate across disciplines on every show.
Each concert is a research platform as much as a performance. The techniques we prove on stage feed directly into our work in virtual production and simulation.
