XR Studio Expansion

Over the past three years, the XR Studio has unleashed remarkable collaborative and creative energy on LSU's campus. Through sustained fundraising and project management, we have built momentum at the intersection of visualization, performance, and technology.
The XR Studio has added a 4,800 square foot expansion, including a new film and performance studio, motion capture volume, DMAE lab and classroom, offices, conference space, and storage.
This space was formerly EA Games' North American testing center for Apex Legends. It expands our cutting-edge performance and emerging technology center and supports our projects in digital twinning, XR performance, human-robot interaction, and more.
