Game Design is one of the major areas in the Digital Media Arts and Engineering Program, where I teach rapid prototyping, advanced digital art, and game production. Our students produce dozens of games per year, and we use Unreal Engine extensively for related projects in manufacturing, preservation, and of course, virtual production.
We also take about 30 students to the Chillennium 48 hour Game Jam at Texas A&M every year, and one of our teams won the competition in 2019. See the video at the top of the page for our latest reel of Chillennium games.
We annually take students to Unreal Fest, the national convention and trade show for Epic Games.
