Original Children's Television
Produced at LSU!

Keepsake is a new children's television show that takes place in a magical bayou town, and features all original music. It already has over 50,000 views on YouTube, check out the clips above and below!

Keepsake is the only children’s TV show produced entirely with Virtual Production, where a real-time, digital 3D environment is filmed on an LED volume behind and around the performers, puppets, and scenery. It is an imaginative and enchanting show that seamlessly blends digital and live content to create an experience that feels real enough to believe, and magical enough to fall in love.

Narrated from the perspective of the main characters, Ollie and Iris, each episode will embark on a captivating journey to solve a mystery and learn about working together through adversity. The fast-paced storyline will actively engage the audience, encouraging them to participate in problem-solving, situational learning, and discovery. In the end, the two young characters find their way home, having grown up just a little on the way.

Keepsake is produced in the XR Studio at LSU, where graduate and undergraduate students work on the performances, the designs, the digital world, the filming and editing, the props, costumes, and more in a hands-on, fast paced production setting.
