Over the past three years, the XR Studio has unleased an amazing collaborative and creative energy on LSU's campus. Through passionate fundraising and project management, we have built momentum at the intersection of visualization, performance, and technology.
Starting this summer, the XR Studio is getting a 4,800 square foot expansion, including a new film and performance studio, motion capture volume, DMAE lab and classroom, offices, conference space, and storage.
This space was formerly EA Games' North American Testing Center for Apex Legends. In the fall it will expand our cutting edge performance and emerging technology center, and support our projects in digital twinning, XR performance, human / robot interaction, and more.
